Health Tips:  Read labels!  Stop using foods made with "High Fructose Corn Syrup".  "HFCS" has been linked to Type II Diabetes and Obesity by The World Health Organization.  HFCS should be used to run your car, not your body.

Get-a-Grip Specialty Rehab Devices

About Us

Michael Stein, CEOGet-A-Grip Specialty Rehab Devices Inc. is headed by Michael Stein, who created a machine that could be adjusted to give the O.T. patient a wide range of resistance in a variety of practical, therapeutic exercises.

Michael got the idea for the Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab Machine while recovering from a proximal row carpectomy. He found the available rehabilitative machines lacking when it came to helping him regain normal activities.

For the surgeon, physician, therapist or rehabilitation professional, The Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab provides a functional readout in every range of resistance or torque. A scale on the side of each Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab displays this objective measure of both origin and progress to the practitioner.

At Get-A-Grip Specialty Rehab Devices, we know how important it is for a practitioner to be able to measure strength and neural function baselines as part of the assessment process. The Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab not only measures functionality, but also the progress of the patient on the various modalities of the Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab.

The Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab Machine works the fingers, hands, wrist, forearms, and elbow through the action of accessories which are resisted by a series of inter-changeable springs. The Get-a-Grip Hand Rehab works all the dimensions of motor skills.

Future attachments include a gun apparatus for rehabilitation of police, military, legally armed persons and sportsmen. The release of a baseball and cable adaptation for sports rehabilitation is planned soon.

In addition, our manufacturer, South Jersey Precision Tools, can custom manufacture and tool extra attachments for special needs patients.
